Frequently Asked Questions

Text Box: How long have you been performing?
I have been performing at weddings, parties and other engagements for over 20 years.
Do you play alone or with other instruments? Vocalists?
Typically I will work in conjunction with the church’s Organist/Music Director. On request, I can perform with guitar or harp accompaniment as well, or other instrumentation or vocalists as requested. As part of the South Jersey performing community, I have a pool of other musicians to recommend if you do not already have someone in mind. Any extra musicians would set their own fees.
What are your fees?
Fees are determined by the total length of time required for rehearsals and actual performance time and travel.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a nominal deposit is required at the time of your consultation session to hold the date open for your event.
How far will you travel?
Typically within a 30-45 mile radius of the Cherry Hill area, extra fees may apply for distances farther away.
What do you wear?
I will typically wear all black, or black and white, for the more formal weddings. If your event is more casual, I can certainly “dress down”!
Do you use amplification?
Amplification is not always necessary, but if the acoustics of the venue require it, and the equipment is available, then I’ll make use of it!
Do you play outdoors?
Yes, I can perform outdoors, but usually not when the temperature is under 60 or over 90 degrees. If there is inclimate weather, I must be in an area covered/protected from the elements.
Will you help choose music for our event?
Yes, as stated on the Suggested Repertoire Page, I will advise and help tailor music to your individual event.
Can you acquire special music arrangements?
Yes, for an additional fee, as long as the music is available for purchase.
