About The Musician...

Text Box: Renae (Lepone) Block is a 1990 graduate of West Chester University, PA, where she received a degree in Music Education and studied flute under Dr. Emily Newbold.  While teaching public school, Ms. Block both directed and performed with many musical organizations.  Most recently, she was a singer and featured flute soloist with The Greater South Jersey Chorus. She is a member of The Flute Society of Greater Philadelphia, and performs annually with its Flute Choir.  In the summer of 2004, Ms. Block gave a solo recital as part of a concert series honoring women in music at the Washington Memorial Chapel in the nation’s historic Valley Forge National Park, PA.**
Renae is married to husband, Marc, an International Six Sigma Quality Consultant, and is a stay-at-home mom to four year old son, Ryan.  She is involved in the community as a board member for a local chapter of MOMS Club® International, while continuing to stay active musically by performing in local churches for weddings, funerals,  holidays and special services.  She also enjoys giving volunteer concert performances at local nursing homes and assisted living facilities.  Renae’s passion is playing the flute—she loves to perform, and is the perfect choice for giving your event A Touch of Elegance!
